So I’ve had quite the adventures in French cuisine this week… It all began Monday with a salad. It had some strange meat on it, which I tried to ignore. My family explained in French what the meat was, but then they kindly looked them up in the dictionary for an exact translation. Don’t worry, it was gizzard and chicken liver. Which my French dad first pronounced jee-zahrd. I was like ah yes gizzard! I stomached some and then was given a piece of ham, in case I was hungry!

Tonight for dessert we had French Toast. Which is pretty ridiculous. Especially since here it has some crazy French name. I forget what it is. I did explain to my family that in America, it is called French toast. They thought it was kind of hilarious too.
